I played at the $550NL Mid South Poker Open in Tunica Mississippi yesterday   I experienced the worst tournament play ever!!!  I told myself I would never play another Tournament under $1000.  The Suckouts were on a grand scale.  One guy called an All In Beat at the Final Two Tables with 7 5 against KK and flopped a straight.  Guy was not even a short stack.  Players like this make it hard for Professionals who attempt to play normal Poker.  I saw this play all day long.  I finished in 8th Place and my Poker Partner Finished in 1st Place.

My two final Poker Team members finished 56th(Lonny Hardcastle) and 120th (Guy Nelson)in the Winstar Casino "River" Tournament today.  First Place was $700,000 and will be played on Sunday

WOW, Did anyone miss the Scotty Nguyen Blow Ups in the 50K HORSE Event at the WSOP?  I know Scotty and have never seen anything like that from hime before.  He cussed, berated and taunted Mike De Michelle and Erik Lingreen.  Seems like he should have been put on the rail.  I see other people being taken off the Table for much less.  Cherokee Casino in Tulsa has got to be in shock that their Poker Star represented them like that.  I hope he comes foward soon and clears this up.  It ruins the Legacy of Chip Reese death that the Poke Tournament was built around.

Well I'm out of the Winstar "River" Tournament at the 4th level.  Lost Big Pot early with Kings up (4000 chips) Lady hit straight on river.  I was able to bounce back to (10.000) by level 3.  I played A2 in Big Blind with no preflop raises.  Two other players in hand.  Flop came 5 3 4 rainbow.  I raised under the gun 600 with two callers.  Turn came 9 Hearts.  I bet 1200 with one fold and one caller.  River came J Hearts.  I pushed and was reaised All In and Lady showed  A10 of Hearts.  Game Over.

I am gearing up for the Winstar "The River" Poker Tournament tomorrow.  1500 entries at $2100.  Several of my team members have already gone out.  All say blinds and structure is too fast.  This will mean for me I will need to get started seeing flops earlier.  I normally like to set back and watch table and make moves later.

There are 5 day one's will 300 people.  Tournament plays down to 10 percent.  Final 150 players are in the money and will play down to Final Table.  Final Table will be Sunday.  First Place is $690,000
